A Texas resident since 1995, Malynda landed in Bryan/College Station from California where she & her Husband John owned two live music nightclubs. Then she joined the sales and marketing team for CableMart (a photo classified advertising Real Estate channel). She was also very involved in her community holding positions in Junior League, Junction 505, Habitat for Humanity, Ambassador for Chamber of Commerce, many local fundraisers. Malynda inherited her thirst for Real Estate while working with the 300+ Agents and being an Affiliate. In August 2008, she visited family in Rockport and fell in love with the area. October 2008 they closed on their coastal retirement home.
Loving the Salt Life, Malynda founded Y KNOT GetawaY Vacation Rentals & Property Management in April 2010, based on: ‘You Too Can Live Like This!” Also, the 2019 Small Business of the Year recipient. With the business thriving and Guests and Tenants asking about purchasing and or selling, Malynda logically became a REALTOR to better serve her clients on yet another level. Turning Tenants into buyers and Guest’s vacations to staycations is a welcome way of life for Malynda. This way of life goes hand in hand with her heartfelt passion for community service. Organizations such as Vets fishing with Vets, Coastal Bend Troop Support, Wounded Warriors, Humane Society, Casa, Ronald McDonald House and KW Cares are some that have benefited from her involvement.

Malynda is honored to have excelled with Keller Williams to be included in the Agent Leadership Council-ALC for her 2 year term. It truly is a privilege to have the opportunity to bond with other like-minded agents, leadership and learn the foundation operations of the KW Culture.
